Gary Burger is as close to a household name as anyone in Northern Minnesota's music scene. Countless artists recorded music at his studio in Turtle River. Outside of Minnesota, Gary may be best known as the guitarist and vocalist for the influential 1960s proto-punk band The Monks. In 2010, Gary recorded 12 of his originals, proving that he never lost the touch for a driving beat and a snarling sense of humor.
